The offered dry blend is waterproofing additive and is brought at a stage of manufacture of concrete. It is made on the basis of special cement and a number of chemical components — modifiers.

ARENA EcoMix which are contained in additive for a waterproofing chemical components evenly are distributed in volume of concrete mix and react with the oxides which are contained in concrete solution, salts and the charged particles – ions. In the course of reaction in products from concrete there is an education more salts, the first in structure, which at contact with moisture are capable to form insoluble connections – crystallohydrates.

Deeply getting into capillary structure and filling all time and microcracks which are available on the surface of concrete, crystallohydrates counteract water intrusion even in cases of high hydrostatic pressure. Without access of moisture to structure of concrete process of a crystallization stops. At increase in hydrostatic pressure or formation of new microcracks, the become wet pores reliably are clogged up by again formed crystallohydrates.

Предназначение:

The dry mix is intended for the additive in concrete at the stage of its preparation for the production of hydraulic concrete. Significantly increases the water tightness of concrete and reinforced concrete structures at the stage of concreting and production. Increases the frost resistance of concrete. Provides protection of structures from the influence of corrosive media: acids, alkalis, sewage and groundwater, sea water.

DESCRIPTION:

Dry waterproofing additive in concrete consists of cement, and special additives of property modifiers.

The material is compatible with other additives used in the production of concrete.

* Tests were carried out according to STO 77956721-001-2017 "Descriptions and technology of use of waterproofing materials of the ARENA FORCE brand". All stated indicators of quality and the recommendation are right for ambient temperature 20oC and the relative air humidity of 90%. In other conditions technical characteristics of material can differ from specified.

Технология применения материала

The dosage of additive has to make 1% of the mass of cement in concrete mix. In an autoready-mix truck ARENA EcoMix additive to enter in the form of solution mix into proportions 0.6 - 0.7 l of water on 1 kg of a bulk additive or 1 part of water on 1.5 parts of a bulk additive on volume. To use the prepared solution mix of additive within 10 minutes. To mix solution mix in an avtobetonosmesitel not less than 10 minutes at the raised mixer turnovers. It is impossible to add ARENA EcoMix additive to concrete mix in a dry form! There is a possibility of introduction of arena ecomix in a dry form via dosers of bulk additives of a production line of concrete plant and also together with inert materials. Joints, seams and adjunctions in ready concrete structures need to be processed the sutural material ARENA SeamMaster PT or repair structures for concrete of the ARENA RepairMaster R series. Principle of action: Effect of material is based on uniform distribution of chemical components on all volume of concrete mix and interaction with the ions, oxides and salts which are contained in concrete. Salts, more complex on structure, which, in interaction with water, create insoluble crystalline hydrates are as a result formed. These connections fill a time, capillaries and microcracks with disclosure to 0.4 mm. Thanks to these crystals, the structure of concrete, becomes, is steadier against water penetration even with a high hydrostatic pressure. As soon as pressure of water stops, process of crystallization stops. When water appears again (more high hydrostatic pressure or formation of microcracks), process of crystallization is resumed. Thereby concrete purchases property of "self-curing". Storage conditions: Storage is allowed at any humidity and temperature from -60⁰с to +50⁰с.

The manufacturer guarantees compliance of mix to requirements of specifications at observance by the consumer of storage precautions and indications of this instruction. Warranty period of container storage of the manufacturer – 18 months from the date of production on condition of undisturbed tightness of an original packing. Safety of application: It is necessary to avoid hit of mix in eyes and on skin. Mix contains cement and in interaction with water gives alkaline reaction therefore during the work it is necessary to use rubber gloves and goggles. At hit of mix in eyes it is necessary to wash them with water and to ask for the help the doctor.
