Surface preparation:

Clean the surface from dirt (when working in winter from ice and snow) to structurally sound concrete. The surface must be rough with grooves at least 2 mm high to improve adhesion. When exposing the reinforcing bars, the concrete around them must be removed by at least 10 mm. Clean the rebar from rust. When laying the mortar mixture with a layer of more than 40 mm, reinforcement must be provided. Fix a metal mesh with a mesh size of 50-100 mm with a gap of 10 mm from the surface using anchors or dowels. If necessary, set up the formwork. Moisten the concrete surface with water until it is saturated as much as possible. Remove excess water with a brush or compressed air. In case of work at subzero temperatures, it is forbidden to moisten the surface!

Preparation of the mortar mixture:

Use clean water and containers. The optimal closing water temperature is 20 ° C (in the case of winter modification of the material, the water temperature is at least 30 - 40 ° C). Mix with water in a ratio of 3.25 - 3.75 liters of water per 25 kg of dry mix for 2 minutes manually or using a low-speed drill, until a homogeneous plastic mass is formed without lumps. While stirring, add the dry mixture gradually to the water. Take a technological pause for 3 to 5 minutes and mix again. Use in 40 minutes, stirring regularly without adding water. When laying a gravy mortar mixture with a layer of more than 30 mm, it is allowed to introduce crushed stone of 5-10 mm fraction in the proportion of 1 part of the dry washed crushed stone to 1 part of the dry mixture by weight.

Application:

Work should be carried out at a temperature not lower than + 5 ° C (in the case of work with winter modification of the material, at a temperature not lower than -10 ° C, using water heated to 30-40 ° C). Lay (apply) the mortar mixture on the prepared concrete surface with a layer of at least 5 mm and level it. Subsequent layers can be applied after 60 to 120 minutes after moistening. In case of work at subzero temperatures, it is forbidden to moisten the surface!

Care of the treated surface:

Moisten only at positive temperatures and protect the surface from mechanical influences, negative temperatures and precipitation for at least 24 hours. In hot, dry, windy weather for up to 3 days. To do this, use standard methods of care for cement-containing materials (covering the surface with a film, wet burlap or cardboard, spraying water) or apply special film-forming compounds ARENA TopSL.

Security:

Use rubber gloves, cotton gloves, respirator, safety glasses, thick cloth overalls, boots. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.

Transportation:

The material is transported by all modes of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to this type of transport. The applied methods of transportation of mixtures should exclude the possibility of atmospheric precipitation entering them, as well as ensure the safety of packaging from mechanical damage and violation of integrity.

Storage conditions and manufacturer's warranty:

Dry mixes should be stored packed, avoiding humidification and ensuring the safety of packaging, in covered dry storage rooms with a relative humidity of no more than 60%. The shelf life of products packed in bags is 12 months, from the date of manufacture indicated on the package.
