The component А — a dry mixture consisting of Portland cement, quartz aggregate of a certain fraction and a complex of chemical additives.
The component Б — aqueous dispersion of copolymers of acrylic acid and styrene.

A two-component elastic building waterproofing mixture is used for waterproofing (from the water pressure side) and secondary corrosion protection of building structures (concrete, cellular concrete, masonry, etc.), including those subjected to dynamic loads during operation.

    * The technical characteristics shown in the table were obtained during laboratory tests at a temperature of 20 ± 2 ° C and a relative humidity of 60% at the design age of 28 days. When working at lower temperatures and the maximum dosage of water, there may be an increase in the duration of the set of characteristics. The technical specifications listed in the table apply regardless of the color (gray / white / tinted).

    Instructions for use:

    Work should be carried out in dry, windless weather at the surface temperature of the structure from + 5 ° C to + 35 ° C.

    Consumption of dry mix:

    The consumption of dry mixes is 1.5 kg / m² when applied in 1 layer.

    Preparation of the foundation:

    Clean the surface from dirt to a structurally sound layer. Uneven and damaged areas of the concrete (brick) surface should be repaired with ARENA RepairMaster R300 / R500. Moisten the surface with water until it is saturated as much as possible. Non-absorbent bases, no need to moisten!

    Preparation of the mortar mixture:

    The optimal application temperature is + 20 °C. As the temperature decreases, the viscosity increases and the setting slows down. When increasing, the opposite is true. Shake component B in the canister several times to homogenize the composition. Mix components A and B in a 2 : 1 ratio by weight for 2 minutes manually or using a low-speed drill until a liquid homogeneous consistency is obtained. Pause for 2-3 minutes and mix again. Use for 60 minutes, stirring regularly without adding water.

    Application by a mechanized method:

    The application of the ARENA PolyElast PE PLUS 2K mixture in a mechanized manner is usually carried out by airless spraying devices. It is recommended to use airless spray devices at a maximum pressure of 20 MPa. The optimal diameter of the spray nozzle is 0.031 inches. The layer thickness is 0.5 - 1 mm, and the consumption of the mixture is 1.5 - 1.8 kg / m², taking into account technological losses and non-selectable residue due to the design of the airless spray device. Filters should be used for smooth operation of the airless application device: the first intake filter captures large particles; the second high-pressure filter. Typically, a high-pressure filter measuring 30 cells per square inch is used. The filters must be rinsed periodically during operation.

    Manual application:

    Apply the first 1 mm thick layer with a brush on a wet surface. After 2-4 hours, apply a second layer perpendicular to the first layer on the already set first layer. At the same time, moistening of the first layer is not required. It is allowed to apply additional layers in places reinforced with polymer alkali-resistant mesh.

    Mesh reinforcement:

    Joints, concreting seams and cracks with an opening of 1.5 mm or more should be reinforced with an alkali-resistant polymer mesh (cell size no more than 5 x 5 mm), with a width of at least 200 mm. Press the mesh into the first layer before it sets.

    Care of the treated surface:

    Protect the surface from mechanical influences, negative temperatures and precipitation during the day. Operation is allowed after 7 days (including installation of ceramic tiles). The waterproofing coating acquires its final physical and mechanical properties after 28 days.

    Security:

    Use rubber gloves, cotton gloves, respirator, safety glasses, thick cloth overalls, boots. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.

    Transportation:

    The material is transported by all modes of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to this type of transport. The applied methods of transportation of mixtures should exclude the possibility of atmospheric precipitation entering them, as well as ensure the safety of packaging from mechanical damage and violation of integrity.

    Storage conditions and manufacturer's warranty:

    Dry mixes should be stored packed, avoiding humidification and ensuring the safety of packaging, in covered dry storage rooms with a relative humidity of no more than 60%. The shelf life of products packed in bags is 12 months, from the date of manufacture indicated on the package.
